Not to dispute your experience but...

I am presently in the schoolhouse and my newhire training partner checked out the newest class. The newest class is half the size of his class due to the lengthening time it is taking to get the newhires a training slot. As it is, some newhires are waiting weeks between indoc and airplane school due to a full training schedule.

Miami simulators are being used by DAL with no talking about winding that down even after the new 737 sims are certified by the FAA.

I'm doing a dick dance, dealing with our absolutely embarrassing dental plan.

I bet RA doesn't have coverage with these clowns. And why not? Because he negotiated something better. He didn't negotiate to solve the company's problems; he negotiated to solve his own problems.

Maybe we should consider doing the same.

Talked to two FAs yesterday and one we worked with today about NY canceling Europe flights for lack of FOs.

The rest of your fellow pilots will evaluate the contract, read it carefully, attend road shows and make intelligent well thought out choices when voting. It will pass and you will up your name calling for those who voted yes.
And you, predictably, will vote yes. After extolling how you carefully evaluated it, blah, blah, blah...you might even be against it initially, say it won't pass, then change course and wholeheartedly support it, all the while castigating those who are against it as whiners, name callers, etc... sound familiar?

I have voted if my memory is right 7 times for contracts or LOA's. Yes 4 times and no 3 times. I am happy I changed my vote on contract 2012. It sure turned out well and finally broke the logjam at all the majors. Read the CEO comments at the time from AMR and UAL.
None of the BS posted about contract 2012 on here came to pass.

You are correct.

Particularly that BS sales line of "We will never see the 3-3. Trust us. [wink wink and we signed a confidentiality agreement]."

I am curious. Where and who told you that. The only place I ever saw it was here. It was never in any Union material and was not mentioned at the road show I attended.

If someone did mention it maybe it was because the thought the 4 and 3 in the last two years would turn out better with PS. What's it actually ending up is something like 20.8% in year 2 and 23% minimum in the last year.
