NEVER! Why are you so quick to accept garbage like that? What you should be saying is "Delta metal is to be flown by Delta pilots", instead you loosely accept outsourcing. No wonder why our industry is in such downward spiral; we do it to ourselves. Little by little, the water gets warm enough to kill us and it is a shame you dont see that.

As mentioned in the Chairman's letter, "We see significant opportunities to leverage changes the company needs into changes we need that far outweigh any real or perceived negatives."

Depends on what the trade-off is before I accept it. 717s from C2012 and the demise of the 50 seater far outweighed the small gains in 76 seaters. The past few years a tremendous amount of flying has been returned to Delta Air Lines pilots and that trend is continuing.

From: I got into this business so I wouldn't have to work.
Im glad my vote will erase your vote. I will not vote for any contract that dilutes our work rules. No amount of money will ever entice me to HO-OAR out my industry. MGT will come up with all sorts of BS needs. These needs were created by them to ultimately degrade our progress and future. The few shekels they throw at us in reality is nil once the taxes are taken out. Be-careful what you wish for.

it is unbelievable that pilots actually suppose the management fleet plan is controlled, or in the least bit influenced by surrendering items in our PWA.
strokes the ego I guess to feel one has that kind of position in the organization. And cultivating that mentality in our group has worked wonders for management.
having leverage and bartering away ones possessions are two entirely different strategies.

Trip7 is a recent hire former regional fo who owes his delta job to either a management guy or a moakist. He doesnt have either enough experience getting boned or enough intellectual honesty to not parrot his sponsor. Critical thought isnt in his tool shed.
