Growing up, have any of your parents forced you to eat your veggies when you didn't want to?

Sometimes, having an appetite doesn't really matter.

To add to that, what else are they really going to say? You never hear a company say publicly, gee let's find someone to merge with

You do, but they tend to be the ones everyone knows is about to go out of business without a merger.

They've acknowledgedweged times are changing in the industry but a merger isn't a good option. What bit of evidence gives anybody the idea we are inching towards a merger? Expressjet is getting bled out, sorry to say, but its the truth. If they thought a merger looked good, I'm sure they talk about synergies, and cost savings, and blah blah blah.

Who wants to bet me that we will merge within the next five years, starting today? I bet not.

Oh yeah, and even though managment is adamant that our HQ won't be ATL, its gonna be ATL because: reasons.

I don't think we'll merge with anyone either. That would cause too many headaches in the integration again. I'm simply saying that they were hesitant announcing the Express Jet 200's and Atlanta base because they said they didn't want to hurt ExpressJets recruiting efforts. So I'm pretty sure that if they wanted to merge us with someone else it would be sprung on us like the Mesaba Pinnacle deal

I'd love to watch an SLI death match from the cheap seats. Gojet brings no growth, garbage pay and theyve almost lost their aircraft in the past. So they are most like Colgan. They should get senior to all Endeavor guys and be able to immediately bid the 900. Also, if any future ssp happens they will immediately complain because they didn't go in front of Endeavor because the quota finally worked against them...

Enjoy!

Regarding ATL. I think CA will be junior on -01, I bet senior folks wait to see what the flying is like and what they can hold. Some might wait to see commutability and the like before pulling the trigger. FO should be junior.

Isn't GoJet Teamsters? If that's the case it wouldn't be ugly for Endeavor pilots
