Unless I have bad info, one could sit 900 CA in NYC and wait for a 200 CA opening somewhere else like DTW or ATL if they want. I thought you only get seat locked if you move to a lower paying position (900 to 200)?

Any upgrade incurs a 12 month seat lock.

Ahhh OK, good information. I assume that seat lock starts when upgrade training commences, but that one could theoretically still get a non-NYC 200 CA spot if a subsequent vacancy takes place prior to upgrade training?

But I get it - logic has no place in the decision making process.
I'm not really sure what you're saying honestly....I'm just relaying that one of the memos said the BOW of the aircraft would change on May 2nd, though the memo didn't say by how much. Just had to take 300 pounds of ballast for a supposedly 190 pound jumpseater...

The lock is only in equipment, you can change domicile as desired.

The updated profile for Endeavor under "pay notes" states that previous 121 guys can upgrade around the 6 month mark. Is this pretty accurate? I am considering some other regional airlines but domicile base and upgrade time will be a big factor for me. The others under consideration (RAH & PSA) have longer upgrade times so it seems.

Default Pay estimator thing

Thought I would ask before I reinvent the wheel.....I'm pretty picky when it comes to my budget and was wondering if anybody has a spreadsheet or other such contraption that you can populate to get a decent WAG on your pay for the month.

Nice to see management in their finest blue jeans on the latest Facebook class photos. Evidently they didn't get the same "business casual" notes that we all got for the school house.

Dude why do you care what Management wears? Is it really that important to mock them? It's not like Casual Fridays is uncommon for office workers, and yes you are not an office worker. No it is not a double standard. Be positive not negative. Grumpy Airline Pilots Suck
