I’ll pose this doozy - the answers to the same question at the AA WO’s varied. Everyone was absolutely adamant that it made no difference...except those that were adamant that it did. 😊

Does working at Endeavor inhibit one’s chances of being hired directly by Delta (as opposed to theoretically “internally hired/flow” etc)?

Negative. I know of guys hired OTS while working at 9E.

Hard to say. My first instinct is no it doesn't hurt. It would most certainly help prepare you for their culture questions. You're familiar with their goals and operations. It probably helps you. There are several non ssp street hires there, and I know a few that have interviews coming up.

So you’re saying there’s a chance....

Well, it sounds like:
- 9E has the best contract (at least for short term)
- Best pay
- At least a possibility to get ATL initially or soon after (especially for someone who doesn’t even know the difference between a 200 and 900, nor cares)
- one could still get a fair shake at DAL as an OTS hire (or FedEx. &#128522

BS flags? Sounds like 9E is the place to shoot for as I face the “regional vs unemployment” debate.

Best pay is objective and can’t be argued. Best contract is subjective and wouldn’t necessarily agree.

Yea there's still room to be made up on the rest of the contract...... But it's moving in the right direction

Anyone have the weight limit for bags when flying standby? Wife is trying to flying home from Florida and apparently bought too much. Is it 50 lbs?

Edit> for a checked bag.

No. I saw the Delta website. It states that it depends on class. Economy gets 50 and first/business gets 70. So what do we default to?

I’ve always just done 50lbs as the limit, two free per non rev passenger. We do list standby first class, but I’m not sure if they will let us go to 70 lbs.
