Thanks. Nice to know 75 is reality, but there is opportunity to get more. FYI, during interview they advertise that the 1st year FO averages $73k vs the $60k guarantee.

I've been watching 900 captain open time (can't look at any other open time for some reason since Flica started) and it's usually just a few CDO's.. no daytime flying unless it is a crappy turn someone managed to drop that then pays less than min day (4 hours, not worth burning a day off) Lines have been typically crediting 75-77 hours. Only a couple people seem to ever be able to get over 80 hours. Maybe with all the New York delays, line holders end up over 83 but I find that hard to believe without lots of guys getting delayed into days off.

Any recommendations as to what to study for upgrade/differences training? Is ground school enough to cover the written test(s) or should I self study?

FYFO min guarantee is $57,270 (not counting M&IE). 2nd year is $52,970.

Some places include the cost of hotels, M&IE, insurance, etc. as "all inclusive" FY pay, and claim it is up to $75K or some ridiculous figure. Don't fall for the hype.

Nice job using the same rant as on a public forum and letting everyone know who you are

The avg line is close to 75 credit
However, it's the norm to credit an additional :30-:60 per trip.
Thus it's very easy to credit 80+
Hours without picking anything up.

You know its a bad day when the pilots on frequency aren't just asking to be parked at the blast fence, but begging.

I'm going to bed.

Why? So Captain Dic-head can abandon his passengers for his commute?

That's how bad the wait for parking was in LGA. I really hope the new terminal can deliver on the taxi and parking space.
