No, because there's no concrete information on when the last ssp, and ETD guys will go.

It seems that the first DGI CAs to hit the 2-year mark will do so around September.

Default CDO Hours

Does Endeavor have a trip or duty rig in the contract?

How does pay credit on a CDO? Do you simply get the min daily guarantee for each day that you fly?

As an example, say you duty on at 2000 and fly a hour flight to an outstation, go to a hotel for a few hours, and then fly back to base and duty off at 0800 the next morning. That would be 12 hours on duty, right? How many hours would you credit on each day? What if the CDO line ran for 4 continuous days? How much would you credit in that case?

5 day trips are guaranteed at 25 hours, so those are 5 hour per day guarantee...

A 5 day trip is worth 25 hours. 4 CDOs are worth 16 hours.

Of note about the CDO lines. These typically yield about 12-13 *full* days off with 13-14 actual CDO duty periods. Even though these duty period technically credit only 4 hours, each one is really worth 5.3-5.7 credit hours because monthly guarantee divided by 13 or 14 is more than 4... on the PBS award you'll see credit hours listed somewhere around 55 but they'll pay 75 (guarantee) and any additional pickups go above the 75 hours.

Endeavor does not mix CDOs into regular lines like I have heard some other airlines (Skywest I believe) do.

4 hours per CDO is a better way to say it.

Per duty period.

Default New Hire Assignments

Have the new hire classes been a mix of 200 and 900 assignments lately? I heard they were doing all 900 classes for a while there. Anybody know what the aircraft and base assignments were for this Monday's class? Just curious. Im getting anxious as my date gets closer. Thanks

It’s definitely flipped. I believe the last three classes have been mixed and at least half of new hires are going to the 200. In monday’s class only 4 new hires were awarded 900.

200 is currently very understaffed as compared to the 900. Seems crew planning underestimated all the current pilots who would leave the 200 for the 900 with the growth of the 900 and shrinkage of the 200. Those 2 1/2 months that were exclusively 900 initial classes came back to bite us (and with not as many new hires being put on the 900 today I predict the 900 might be short staffed 3 months down the road...). I believe several 200 to 900 transition classes were delayed as a result of the shortage.

With that said, new hires seem to understand that the best choice for ATL is the 200 at this moment in time so it hasn’t gone as junior versus the 900 as you would expect. Unless the last four of your ssn starts with 0, 1, 2, Or 3 I think you should be able to get what you want as far as 900 or 200. Of course all of this is subject to change and company needs come first. Things can and do change between job offer and you starting class.
