Correct. If your class is split between 200 and 900, you will have the opportunity to bid for your airframe, most senior being those with last 4 of social closest to 9999.

It seems like the majority of people want the 900, but in my class there were some that bid 200, not many though.

Your class may go all 200 or all 900 though and then you wouldn't have the option.

A few months ago the classes were splitting 50/50 between 200 and 900. Not sure how it's breaking down now.

Correct. 900 usually goes more senior than 200, but not always. Nothing is really guaranteed in this industry though. The numbers I gave you are accurrate as of now and have been accurate for the past 3 years (since I've been here).

Have my interview on the 8th next month, already typed in the 2/7/9. I’d prob pick the duece if it meant getting on a line quicker in ATL. Odds? Roll of the dice (I’m a 65#) or should I be saving bribe $$ for hookers and blow? (Joking I hope you all know...maybe)

Reserve here is actually better than the junior lines, if you live in base. Weekends and 12 days off for mid seniority reserve schedules is possible.

The reserve system here is MUCH MUCH better than the LASA side of XJT. Days off don't get moved around and there's quite a few "automatically released" clauses in the contract.

So RSV is a year? Is that the case for ATL on the 200?

Junior lineholders there now sat far less than a year. Maybe 2-3 months. That said past performance does not indicate future results. This stuff changes all the time. Nature of the beast. I’d plan 4-5 months post training for reserve. That’s reasonable for our hiring numbers.

This just in five minutes ago. Delta has changed its strategy again with the 3-carrier scheme. I think we will be getting planes with LED strobes and beacons in a year or so.
