Already doing ATL. Having to two leg it ever since SWA pulled the max and canned the Msp-Atl routes.

MSP-ATL is a nightmare, NYC is about the only commutable base from Minneapolis. Ask me how I know. Loved MSP but eventually moved for a better commute. But hey, there’s 3 CA openings on the latest vacancy, might only be 15 years to hold it soon.

So doesn’t sound like anyone is doing DTW? I did JFK for a while and was really trying to avoid NYC altogether.

I've heard MSP-DTW can be pretty tough too. Lots of competition. But it can't be as hard as MSP-ATL or ATL-NYC. Hub to hub is pretty tough normally

Atl nyc isn’t bad from what I’ve heard, at least from LGA. Multiple Southwest and American options to LGA, Jet Blue to JFK. I believe Spirit is even in the mix, all airbuses between LGA and ATL on DL with 2 jump seats... but yea when NYC has an IROP you’re going to get hosed as every pax gets rerouted via ATL. MSP seems much harder since DL basically has a monopoly on the route.

Anyone know the best way to remove the ATP restriction? Apparently my local FSDO is unable to assist me with that due to "limited resources and workload constraints". They gave me a list of DPE's, and basically said good luck..?

Had to routinely two leg it home from DTW and use positive space to get to work. Certainly was not a pleasant commute.

Can’t they do this at recurrent or upgrade training?
