For one, it won't be implemented, if at all, until after we get a signed contract. You can bet Delta management wouldn't want to give Howe on the fence another reason to vote against the TA.

Second, there's certainly at least 2800 pilots hired since 01Jan14 that would hate this.

Who's "Howe", and why is he on the fence.

I'm on the 200 in DTW. I was one of the last few classes to get in here; therefore, it just seems like I will be on reserve longer. What do you guys like better, JFK or LGA as a base? I bid for this next vacancy to get out of here, but at the same time I'm wondering how many people are trying to do the same. Would it be worth it to stick it out in DTW? From where I live, there are more flights to LGA so I've been leaning more towards LGA.

Another question. I'm still learning. When you switch bases, do you fall at the bottom of the seniority list for that base or how does that work? Thanks in advance for the help/advice.

How about getting bumped by DGS on EV/OO? That's always fun.

No, just look at your overall seniority number. Your base has nothing to do with it. NY might be a better schedule, keep costs in mind though....Taxi, crashpad, food ect...easy to burn cash quick!

Delta may try and buy the portion of skywest that owns its market share, and merge it with Endeavor. That would then mean Endeavor now owns Delta's market share, and Delta directly owns End. So when the time comes to end regionals, Delta would absorb its own market share with the shutdown of Endeavor.

It wouldn't surprise me if Delta is working everyday to get this done, whether the government will let them is another story.

A couple of questions that I can't find in the bid packs/contract. Thanks in advanced!
1) what is a CNO line vs a CDO line?
2) is there a way to bid reserve instead of a normal line. I know you can bid reserve over a CDO line but I'm wondering if you can bid reserve over a normal line in general. I live in base and enjoy reserve and would rather do that instead of a line if I have the choice.

Thanks for the answer of no. For those that don't know.

I'm trying to do an objective comparison of both Endeavor and Skywest (my first two choices) and seeing what's a better fit. Delta is where I ultimately want to end up so obviously Endeavor is high up on the list. On the other hand with the multiple people I personally know that are at or have been at Skywest and have very positive things to say it's hard to decide. I don't personally know anybody at Endeavor so it's hard to paint a full picture.
