As said, rare to see a 'big' MEL.
Last few I've had were all small thing, cockpit light, NAV light, flap seal.

Aircraft kept in great shape and on site MX are knowledgable and able to fix most minor issues in between turns or overnight. They know planes make money in the skies and it's better to fix now, rather than kick the can down the road.

Yup, this isn't Pinnacle and the "run every MEL til expiration" mentality. Most MEL's are cleared within 48 hours. They won't take a big delay needlessly if it can be MEL'd til that night (or more often to get the plane properly routed til the next night) but they won't just leave a broken APU floating around for 10 days because the MEL says they can. They know that the combination of needless delays and unhappy passengers (and crew) isn't worth it if it can be avoided.

He said CDO not CNO, there is a difference, and wondering the same thing about the mock. I think it is inaccurate and will show more on the final.

Currently flying around with a deferred APU (200). It broke yesterday and will be fixed by tomorrow AM. This is the first time in probably 6 months that I've had one deferred. Our maintenance is EXTREMELY well run.

I really appreciate all the answers here. I haven't interviewed with them yet, I did interview with Skywest (they did a roadshow and came here locally) but again, I know a lot about Skywest from friends there. Another random question, and this is kind of weird, but Skywest does little things for their people like coupons/vouchers for Turkeys on Thanksgiving and stuff like that. This certainly isn't a deal breaker for Endeavor but I am curious if there's any weird/cool little things like that they have done, just to kind of give the impression they care? Maybe parties etc.?

We have random BBQ's at each base every once in a while and all the bases serve food to those working on thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. it is a business but I think 9E has a good corporate culture. I've been here a year and a half and it just seems like things are running smoothly and when they don't it's the exception rather than the rule. Just my 2 cents though.

They do usually have stuff in the crew rooms for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Last Thanksgiving I got lucky and got released a day early from reserve so I wan't there to grab any food. I was in LGA during Christmas and as small as the crew room is there they had a table full of food, drinks, and snacks.

I was really sold on the culture at Endeavor because of their Facebook page (http://www.Facebook.com/9EAir). Just the other day, it looks like a few employees delivered some donated goods to Florida for hurricane victims. Apparently the plane was getting some work done, so they had a video about it. Really, really cool stuff.

Also, yeah, it looks like the company really celebrates their success. I don't see that level of care at the other carriers, especially not the ones that I considered/interviewed with.

Regional feed helps keep their market share, if passengers have to drive to a city they will get on cheapest airline instead of convienence of getting on regional at closer town.

It wouldn't surprise me if Delta is working everyday to get this done, whether the government will let them is another story.

Apparently Endeavor doesn't do many random drug tests?
