I wouldn't start bragging too much. Envoy probably took the most time with the most failed attempts in order to get certified EOW out of any airline ever. It's really not that hard.
It took them a few months and zero failed attempts. |

Look, no trolling here. I'm happy you guys were finally able to get certified after so many attempts. I'm just saying that you have no grounds to go rubbing it into the faces of other Regionals that may have doubted the ability of Envoy to get certified in a timely manner. |

From a leasing company. Those frames were operated in Europe. Up to 14 more to come potentially.

Envoy got its limited extended overwater approval today. I wonder what those geniuses in the Republic thread have to say now? They talked a lot of crap about how Envoy would never get this done.

You seem like the typical Envoy ******. No one at Republic was seriously denying you guys would get EOW after the MIA base was announced. It was obvious.
Direct quote. And also the stuff Ciceda was spewing out. It took just over 3 months, and no failed attempts. |

I can 100% guarantee that every pilot and FA in the crash pad I was at in LGA last summer was laughing and telling me how I “should have came to Republic mainline” when Envoy announced the base closure. Then I read all the $hit talking on RPA’s forum about the Miami deal. There’s a large group of RPA employees that give that whole company a black eye. Maybe y’all should consider this a wake up call?
Also, I’ve never heard a single person call any regional mainline except for SkyWest. So either 1) you’re making **** up, or 2) the LGA Instagram pilots are drinking a different recipe of Kool Aid. Both seem plausible. |

It seems as if some republic pilots are starting to act like the mainline Skywest pilots... not a good look.

I’m sure they’ll start a jumpseat war now because they are upset and need to focus their energy on something.

Show up for my jumpseat and you’ll get the same reciprocity. Make sure you check-in before OAL, because if not, it’s going to them.

And just make sure you list as aac for the cabin and d7 for the js. Don’t be like Skywest and list as aac and expect the js when the flight ends up being full.

Every envoy pilot should take heed of what this guy is saying. Make sure you email the union with any issues with any jumpseat denials. Be professional when they violate the signed agreement. |

Looks like life is back to normal when we are fighting about the jumpsseat.

Check-in before OAL? We don’t need to check in at republic if we’re sitting in the back, and just so you know, we’re always ahead of OAL pilots on Eagle flights. I’d recommend you to read the jumpseat rules before talking shi+ here, it sounds like you don’t know what you’re doing, dummy.

Uhh, “mainline” is a SkyWest joke, even though it’s been transforming to “heavy”, it’s ours, we like it, please do usurp it for a weak forum fight.

Last year they tried this same thing in MIA. They demanded that AAG pilots had to re-list as a D6UJ and started handing out papers to gate agents informing them of the new procedure that they had decided was being implemented. While I feel for them, there is no brand loyalty for YX pilots. They can fly a flight for any of the three carriers. You cannot fence them off. If you could, then maybe they could give them some sort of perk, but a YX pilot commuting on an ORD-EWR flight isn’t going there to benefit AA in that base so why should they be able to bump off a NK, B6, DL, etc. pilot? YX signed an agreement and they should honor it. Waking up to the gate in MIA and saying to a pilot trying to get home “yeah, I know this is an AA flight and you’re a D2, but because I don’t like the contract my company signed, I am going to let the Spirit guy have the jumpseat. Tell your management if you don’t like it,” won’t buy an ounce of sympathy from us. Ask me how I know. Starting a unilateral action is not going to end well for anyone. Ok

Correct. The answer is to end the reciprocal like we did with United when United decided to change an agreement. Jumpseat not available.
|
Good god, what did I miss now? I still feel in the dark about the whole skywest/republic/envoy jump seat issues as I have yet to see it happen. This must be an easy coast thing.

AA put the kabash on the earlier plans. FAA was ready to approve. |
