So let me get this straight... American is transferring Envoy's aircraft to TSA/XJT/PSA because Eagle cannot staff them.
So their solution is for Eagle vote in a concessionary contract, and this will somehow make Eagle able to magically staff 40 aircraft that they could not supposedly staff before? Oh, and as an added bonus, they are going to guarantee another 30+ in attrition each month and think that is going to solve their "staffing" problem? Ha! |
Still planning on shrinking a ton, DENpilot. The 40 175 ARENT additional airframes and there's no clarification about the fate of our current 140/145s in this TA
|
Duration is too long. 10 years? Really?? There will not be any regionals left by then. While we wait for those 10 years to pass, supply and demand of pilots will grow exponentially in our favor. Not only is it reprehensible to vote in a B scale at a place that already IS a B scale, but for 10 years? LMAO!!!!

I believe it states no less than 30 in the term sheet. The bullet points are not written as clearly as term sheet.

Sorry, but PsA started the 10yr contract. Our union looked for protection to the current pilot group.
edit: 16 year, thanks. |
Correction sixteen year contract with four amendment rounds, but 16 year deal.

Without any of these actions, the latest consessionary TA would not have been possible, and for that we thank you. |

No, they don't. We do however would like to acknowledge Endevor and PSA for putting us in this mess to begin with, and PDT for stabbing us in the back AFTER we voted no the first time.

I have faith that Envoy pilots will vote this obvious concessionary deal down, on B scale standards alone. This will not pass. Envoy pilots will hold the line.

40 pathetic airplanes
No mention of e145's continually transfered away No increase in flow Reduction in our take home pay and they think a lousy 12500 is gonna buy my vote HARD seniority numbers (for every envoy pilot) is the only thing Id ever vote yes on. Everyone has to think long term if we continue to lose aircraft at some point we are going to be losing them so fast flow will have to increase to 50% of a possible 100-120 new hires a month after SOC Gaining an extra even 6 months of seniority means that extra time spent on the top of AA pay scale 6 months of 777 CA pay is a hell of a lot more than $7500 or $12500. And the more junior you're the higher the impact. I'm hoping that the guys leaving to AA in the next 3-6 months don't sell us out for a quick 9000 after taxes |
Wow just read over the TA... Talk about concessions!
|
It amazes me that airline management still thinks they can hammer current pilots contracts, while whining how they can't seem to recruit new pilots. Oh the irony!
|
You have to ask yourself, what does this deal do to attract new hires? Be prepared for MEC dialogue on the order of 'sign it or shut down'.
|
That's what it actually came down to; the company showed tangible proof that a shutdown was planned. This TA, while concessionary, is still better than what PSA has. Of course, if those scumbags had not signed one first, we would not be here faced with cuts or no jobs. I truly hope those yes voters rot in hell.

What does the furlough protection you have now afford you? Is it just a few months pay or is it actually worth something? Is it a something they will take away with the TA?
|
If Envoy votes this in PSA and PDT can still keep their ID's backwards.
We aren't voting on this knowingly taking someone else's aircraft. We aren't voting on this knowingly expecting our co-workers to to take concessions to make our deal happen. |

Furlough protection wasn't mentioned. But it makes no difference, they'd shut us down before they'd furlough. |

If you don't think this is a deal worth voting in... Vote no. I have been following this thread as an outsider. I have heard a sentiment of "we will stand for what we believe in." The PSA, Pinnacle, Peidmont vote should have no bearing on your decisions. You guys have a tough decision to make but it is YOUR decision.
|
It doesn't matter what PSA or PDT pilots did or do, you guys have to hold the line for the good of the industry. There is no other way, you vote this in you are bringing the entire industry down on a much bigger scale then PDT and PSA, you have more pilots and represent the industry much much more.

^bingo!!! Post of the day

Funny how those big balls and big talk go away when you feel the pressure of getting shut down! Now you see what position Piedmont was during all this. All you Envoy guys that talked crap to us (you know who you are) Piedmont Pilots all I can say is Karma is a son of a *****.
For the Envoy folks that understood our position I wish you luck with having a chance of a future and having job security with the AAG network. I guess this is the part where XJet and Republic talk about your guys lowering the bar. Well you guys are up to bat now. |
Ya. What are the bad details?? All they talked about was the good.. 40 E175's... (Only after they have lots more then 40 aircraft to other airlines.. And it will take atleast 1 year to get 175's on property...

Huh? c. The commitments in this paragraph 2 are predicated on meaningful participation in Jet Aircraft Negotiations by other labor groups at Piedmont. The commitment for EMB-175 aircraft herein is contingent upon reaching acceptable agreements with the AFA-represented Flight Attendants and the IBT-represented Mechanics and related employee groups. Concessions by other employees. They got sold down the river too. |

I'm waiting for all the Republic Pilots to start Parachuting in on all this. After blasting Piedmont Pilots this should be damn interesting.
