Do you even work here, friend? I guess you don't understand the Envoy payscale. News flash: we don't get paid AA pay. Envoy pay is in fact one the THE WORST payscales in the industry. In no way is B6 a lateral move.

I don't think he realizes just how absurd his claims sound.

How long will that last though? When AA, DAL and UAL all start retiring 600+ pilots a year, that "10,000" application pool starts shrinking pretty fast. Just my opinion. Don't get me wrong, the flow is a great backup and creates movement and makes sense for a lot of people who wouldn't initially be qualified at a legacy (no degree, checkride busts, etc.) but you can't tell me if you are qualified and don't work at Envoy you won't have a shot at AA in the future.

How many years will it take to dwindle down the application pool to the point that a pilot feels they actually stand a chance at getting the call? That's the question.

These guys are the reason I have felt so comfortable helping young FOs go to b6. I've helped a few to Spirit as well.
I agree, CR700 doesn't have a clue about the real world. I think he is all silent right now, basking in the glory of their bonus. I think it's kind of funny. A bonus is a sign of desperation and can only be approved by the chief DUI drinker extraordinaire himself. The fact he is starting to feel the pinch brings me great joy.
