Good luck. My impression is that reserve life is not so cushy these days, even near the top of the list.

Department of Labor is involved with the FMLA issue, WHL investigation opened. Doesn't look good for Envoy.

Any E175 guys know how long training is currently (from day 1 to the start of IOE). Any training backlogs?

It's my understanding that said pilot it's being investigated under Federal Fraud.

I heard that it's more about working another job while under FMLA, than picking up pizza.

I mean honestly... It's so bizarre that there has to be more to the story than Envoy just randomly busting some guy with a PI while he was on FMLA...

I think it's amazing that a PI was hired, it's crazy. If these guys were doing stupid stuff with their FMLA I don't know what they were thinking, but right or wrong they got fired and will be fighting to get their jobs back.

I have to wonder about the PI, though. This is proof that the company is going to some pretty serious lengths to dig up any infraction of the rules, but how many people are on FMLA? What other people are going to get a PI tailing them?

Bad enough you need to watch your back at work, but now you need to watch your back at home, too.

Total active time in training is about 2 months. There is a back log on sim time.

Thanks for the information. Do you know if the reserves are flying much? I'm an F/O for another regional and am absolutely fed up with my commute. I live in Fort Worth and trying to decide on fractional flying or Envoy. Anyone here think 135 turbine PIC is better than 121 F/O time (if the end goal is a major)?

135 guys generally don't end up going straight to the majors.

Getting on with a major is extremely difficult, it appears more 121 pilots are being hired at mainline vs 135/91.

Currently the reserves are being flown almost daily. Anytime I look ord and dfw emj are 0. However it's summer, and it seems like thunderstorms hit both places almost daily. Regardless it appears we are below the correct staffing level. If fall doesn't have a sizable reduction in block hours my guess is this will continue.
