When lines are not commutable, have only a day or two off between 3 and/or 4 day trips strung 3 or 4 in a row people are going to get burned out. If you're on one of those lines it's going to result in being home only 1-2 nights between trips over 16 days.
I haven't heard of anyone getting drops approved, either.
So you get your butt worked off for 11-13 days off, much of which has a big possibility of being non-commutable, and get paid 72-75 hours.
I'm looking at the bid pack and see a 5 trip line with 2 days off between each trip and every trip either starts around 0800 or has a finish after 2100. I can't think of any legal way to commute for that off the top of my head without losing a day off to commute in early, and even a local would get burned out after a while doing this schedule.
So yeah, people are going to call in sick because they're tired. Literally. There's no time to recover. I guess it's cheaper to fire people than to fix the schedules. Just my opinion.

I assume you've gone through life snapping your fingers with the expectation others will jump to appease you. Sorry, but not this time. I'd rather you think I am your eaglefly and watch you twist yourself into a knot over it then tell you something you may or may not believe anyway.
I'm trying my best to avoid the wrath of the mods and you and I don't play well, so why don't we stick to our own sides of the street by avoiding direct interaction from now on. I'm game, how about you ?

That's definitely something eaglefly would say.

Why would someone who just joined APC last month with 70 posts be fearing the "wrath of the mods" already?

Hey, it's the guy with 7 posts "who isn't even in aviation who just stopped by this particular forum" following what's going on here.
Or, maybe it's Skyvector, go skers and CR700 all wrapped into one.
