Default New Envoy Information

Sounds right to me.

Edit: You can choose equipment that is based in both bases. (145) that's about it.

You're sure? As of a few weeks ago they were begging people to take ORD via extra bonus money (likewise for picking 145 in DFW), and most wanted DFW and were getting it -- meaning people got what the base they wanted or were lured to with extra cash. Maybe their approach has changed?

I'm not sure about new hire classes. I just know that there are quite a few 145 ORD FOs that live in the DFW area that can't get back to DFW. Supposedly the company told them they will be able to, but aren't letting them go yet. I get it, if the company needs ORD FOs then why would they let them transfer? If they let them transfer, they will still be short ORD FOs. But if they don't let them transfer, they lose valuable pilots at a time when they can't afford to.

There are also a lot of CRJ pilots that live in the DFW area that can't get back until they can bid to a different airplane. For FOs, that means upgrade which could take forever.

The company could fix this, but for some reason they think the flow is the answer to everything and continue to treat pilots like @#$%.

The extra bonus is for taking the CRJ/ERJ and not the E75. People were walking out of class if they didn't get the 175.

It's not a domicile dependent bonus but an equipment one.

I'm pretty sure AAG put the kibash on the CRJ/ERJ bonuses. Apparently $5000 costs a multi-billion dollar company too much too keep its biggest regional lift properly staffed! Lol

So you are saying that people were seriously walking out of class and away from their seat at AA (flow)?

ONE person walked out of class.

Two weeks later, the E175 was offered to new hires.

Yes.

You can thank PDT/PSA crying about it for that.
