It's a very problematic dynamic when all new hires want the E175 because the other fleets (and their pilots) suffer when that happens. Yet, overall, we need new hires. Now, the other WO's don't have this dynamic to deal with (or perhaps they do in the form of staffing certain domiciles) so maybe they didn't get the 'why' we had to do it.

Regardless, it's clear that AAG wants the WO's on a "level playing field" with regards to recruiting.

Is it just me or do I smell a displacement bid in the near future if this keeps up. All wanting 175. Eventually Envoy will have to either not offer it anymore or offer it with a displacement bid after every 3 or 4 months which is very costly.

The company is hell bent to not pay for a displacement. With all the movement they will just start paying guys again to take stuff besides the 175. A displacement is highly unlikely.

It's either a displacement or no new hires at this point.

They had their difficulties. Don't forget all the guys that posted photos to social media and got suspended or canned.

At least we could see why they got in trouble there. Here it's becoming rather unpredictable.

Is it just me or does AAG seem to mimic the competing storm chaser in the movie Twister? Always sitting back watching what the other airline does. Then whenever something benefits them (not employees) they immediately spring into action. Also when their employees are screaming that they are about to make a horrible mistake, (driving into a tornado) it goes to deaf ears.

Lol it wasn't supposed to be a burn, just an answer to your question. From speaking to other pilots when this topic comes up, the general consensus is that there won't be a displacement bid due to the associated costs. So, yeah. I guess I could tell you to grow up but it wouldn't do much good

I've seen you in other threads. Your response is as expected. You respond in a childish insult, I call you out, then you say I am being childish, then you insult. I'm going to end this right here with an ignore.
