Hi everyone !
I am planning to start my training in Jan with envoy. which airframe do you guys think should I bid for if my PRIORITY to fly as much as possible ? Don't mind being on reserve longer as I will move to base, just want to keep myself as busy as possible with flying & not sit around.

Opening January 1st on the 145 if that's your goal get in sooner the original bid was for 70 FOs they only got like 35 to bid it so the rest will be new hires who will be Jr to you assuming you get here fast. That would mean a quick movement off reserve. And the guys who did bid it are mostly going to upgrade in less than a year. Meaning Sr line holder status in under a year.

Can a new hire bid for LGA or is it only a certain slots that are given out on the first day of class?

December bid pack is up on myenvoyair. At least for the 175 in DFW it looks much better than the last two months. Most lines are 13-14 days off with credit in the mid-70s, or 11 days off with credit in the 80s, like you would expect. Still not ideal, but a definite improvement. Haven't been watching any of the other fleets or bases, so someone else will have to chime in with how those stack up.

If it is not included, bid the 145 in any other base. You will be able to hold LGA quickly. If not right out of training, shortly thereafter.

Yea thats what I am thinking. I wanted Dallas and I really don't care about the aircraft but the 175 has a shorter reserve in Dallas than the 145.

Dec crj are still bad, 11 days off and you make 5 hrs more then someone on reserve. 14 days off and you make 5 hrs less then someone on reserve. Our 4 days on the crj are very weak(low time).

Agreed. Not great, but definitely an improvement over November. It's nice to see a little more variety with 2 day and 3 day lines. I think the good old days with no 11 day off lines are a thing of the past with our current staffing levels.

How many E175 FOs have a line and how many on reserve?
How are the lines built, 3,2,2,3 legs for a 4 day?
What is a "normal" leg length, short hops within Texas or Mexico turns?

Thanks.
