All I know is that somebody said I was Deplorable.....

Does that mean I'm a Trump supporter?

Just saying....

But I need to know!

Doubtful. I'm maxed out on step 12, flying the CRJ but on the 145 pay band, approx 90/hr. It will be a paycut when I flow. Maybe I'll be proactive and save some of that bonus money to help with the transition.

OK, buddies8 you're drunk, go home.

LOL... I really don't know what you just said. I'm not really sure what AA pilot compensation from the previous three years has to do with an envoy flow going to AA in the future but I can say that during my entire airline pilot tenure I have seen a disproportionate amount of compensation go to the senior pilots in the name of seniority and "I've put my time in and I deserve more." Such practices have contributed to potential pilots pursuing other careers. I made crap wages as an FO just like you. It wasn't right then and it isn't right now. I am happy that these hard working professionals are finally getting paid what they deserve.

Well then you're not here because that just has not happened. Careful how you talk about seniority, because that is all that you get in this busines.
Just for info, anyone over 15 years here has seen nothing in the last 10. All money's except once have only been for f/o's.
I never mentioned seniority or f/o's in my original remarks. You and the rest who plan on benefiting are upset, all I said is it is discrimination to carve out.
What your problem with that.

The only one drunk, is the one counting the cash in euphoria before they get it.

The most implausible part of the MEC email is the 40 a month flow. I definitely will not believe that until I see it. Even if it were to happen, it would only change my flow date a few months. Pretty small benefit in the grand scheme of things. Be that as it may, that also means that I will likely only been here for, perhaps one retention bonus payout and 6 months of a possible pay raise. Trust me when I tell you, I am far from being drunk with excitement. Again, even with those benefits, I will still make less money than you.

I am actually just happy to see regional pilot compensation going to where it should have always been and I am happy for the hard working FO, especially those who were hired just before the AMR bankruptcy who have, in my opinion, really gotten the short end of the stick. Be upset about it all you want. It will not likely change anything. The only person you are hurting is yourself.

This is great news for every FO at this company. Just be happy for them and leave it at that.

Don't forget how the lifers stole our pay with the pay banding scheme. Where was the sympathy from lifers for everyone else on that screw job of everyone else on property??? I lost 8k a year being displaced into the CRJ for 2 years vs what the other guys on it were making. That extra pay rate that "was" in the contract to go to me went directly to a senior lifer in the 145 not doing squat to earn it. Now I'm in the largest aircraft we have and still being paid way less than I would have been, due to stupid pay banding and lifers getting a boost at others expense. (I will never get that $$$ back because I will never reach the top payband here with the entrenched 300 lifers that bypassed flow multiple times).

Anyone in the top payband on the e145 is benefitting from it financially right now.

Sounds like one of those "carve outs" that just benefitted the top doesn't it.

Talked to a guy today who is in class right now. He was told tomorrow, as in 9/14.

Sounds like another case of Free Beer Tomorrow!!
