The Ric Wilson letter specifically says industry leading pay rates for new pilots along with a retention bonus.

If I had to guess I'd say it's Republic pay +$.01, plus the annual $10,000 for everyone, including new hires. Existing FO's will get a small bump to stay ahead of the new hire pay.

I've said for a long time that pilots have the leverage. AAG needs the lift. I don't believe it's a coincidence that upper management at AAG was changed recently and Robert Isom, the new President of AAG, is very favorable to the Wholly Owned's.

If this latest plan doesn't attract the numbers they want, increased measures will be taken (bringing the flying to mainline). There is too much money out there and our lift is too valuable for them to ignore. The whipsaw is finally dormant (dead?) and it's a good time to be at a WO.

This action if it stays as the email states is deplorable act by the company, aag and alpa.
Where were you decrying the fact that most of our FOs made less than half the hourly rate of our Captains? Or why were you OK with every senior lifer keeping his 18 year pay scale while all those behind you get to be capped at 4 yr FO/12 yr CA? I'm just kind of confused as to your sudden interest in equality and fairness.

(Oh, that's right, because this time the inequality doesn't benefit you)

Butt head, new hires knew coming in what they were getting. The rest got nothing after all other employee benefit cost went up. If you were on property then don't swqauk, you made out.
F/o's got 20k, plus 5k as f/o plus another 7 5k upgrading, as a new hire they got 15k.

You afraid of inequality, talk to a mainline pilot. Inequality exists everywhere especially this business. The 4/12 you spout is for new hires and captains. But they have carve outs that they kept longevity pay even with 4/12.

So I really don't see your point or point you are trying to make other than you support management.

Should have known what YOU were getting when you decided NOT to flow. If you are that senior you've been making six figures for over a decade now and you have your 18year pay step. Stop your crying like a little girl and be happy for 98% of your co-workers. A healthier Envoy ultimately benefits you as well. Butt head.

LOL, I haven't been called a butt head in a long time, but its true, so I'll let it go.

My point is this, even with the bonuses and pay (whatever they may be) you will probably still be the highest paid frontline employee at the company and these bonuses will ensure that there will continue to be pilots willing to sit to your right and swing your gear until you retire. Seems to me, that alone would be enough to make you happy and not cry, "But what about me!"

then apa should give all that money back it has gotten in pay the last three years because it still will be a pay raise when you get to flow to aa from here, correct.
