So chances are great if you wany CRJ-700 in ORD.

Staffing is behind @ ORD on the E145 & CRJ-700 is what i'm told, so majority of Sept classes going to ORD.

I've hear that some will skip class dates in Sept to hold out for E175 DFW... what ever floats their boat man. Career suicide if you ask me. Just the way this industry works. 1 month is worth 30-40 people ahead of you in upgrades, maybe 50-60 per month due to recent announcement....

1 month as a Capt in Majors is worth $15K+ per month. Is passing up class dates for 1-2 months just to get the E145 worth 80-100 ahead of you in flows and mainline captain upgrade? Furlough POTENTIAL? Is the E175 worth $15K+ per month / $30K+ (two months pay) in future earning potential?

Seniority.

E175 looks nice, but get your seniority# LOCKED asap. Race to the top at this point. Or bottom if the economy /industry tanks, Seniority makes the difference.

Those who make poor choices will have to live with it for the rest of their careers in lost income potential, mainline upgrade, and long term QOL.
This is all very true. And don't forget that the flow slows down to about 15/month by the time a new hire will flow (hired after 12/23/14). So, by having an additional 60 pilots in front of you, you are losing 4 months at the majors. That can be a lot of money down the road.

Valid points.

Recruitment also has no idea when the 175 will be offered next. October will be ORD as well, unless something changes (again).

I agree. I remember basic IFR Chart questions. Be familiar with Jeppesen format. Basically asking, what does this mean, how low can you go, can I go directly there, etc, etc. Of course they will ask you basic HR questions too. Tell me a time when...., How would you solve a dispute, etc.

I wonder if we can stay within thread topic. "New Envoy Information," and "Pay Increases at Envoy."

Thanks ! Out of curiosity how long is the seat lock?

That's a really good point. Over at 9E our company wants to either extend retention bonuses for the long term, or increase pay rates at the end of bonuses since the uncertainty is a major turn off for applicants. We still have several years before the bonuses end, but the new generation is more forward looking so they want to get ahead of the curve.

Can't see why the other regionals would be immune to the same.

Might be an obvious answer for some, but again in the MIL is all different. I want to make sure I study the right information.
Take stroll over to aviationinterviews.com or willflyforfood.com

The gouges for Envoy are very accurate
