Speaking of reserve...
As a LGA line holder that will be on reserve next month (and for the near future) do I proffer for my preference or will I be automatically assigned RAP1 when the month starts. I know about proffering every day once on but I wasn’t sure about the first day as I will be finishing up my sequence and probably not available to proffer.
Thanks

Units labeled ‘Class B’ which are built on the same frame often do. Look for one’s that are 19’. Anything bigger will ‘officially’ need more than one parking space (though you might be able to make one slightly larger work by parking with the back end hanging over curb/sidewalk/grass).
Speaking as someone with a Class B currently parked in the ORD lot... I asked all the questions and did the research (even brought a measuring tape in and measured the spaces). If you wanna park in the AA lot, it MUST fit in a single parking space or will be towed. It cannot be parked along a fenceline along the parking lot, since they are afraid of people using them to jump a fence.
As long as you can fit in a space (19.5 feet or less, basically), you're fine. The CPO office said you can park there, but not live in it... just FYI. Though, nobody cares as long as you aren't obvious probably.
As already mentioned: the Hilton has a gym you can shower in.

If neither happens then expect a call at midnight. I'm guessing this will most likely happen.
Additionally hahaha and this may get confusing. Even if you do get pre assigned you can always proffer. If you do proffer and are awarded the trip/RAP/ready reserve then you must confirm via AVRS or you will be reverted back to RAP 1.

Sorry to hear that man. So you are ONLY assigned the "pre-assigned RAP 1" if they call and tell you or you get an hi6 saying you are "confirmed".

If you don’t mind, what model do you have and how well has it worked for you? I didn’t commute to reserve long enough to make me do it, though I was in the process of shopping for one when my circumstances changed. But I may need to revisit this topic when I land the next job.
