Look at all open trips for your sequence days. If theres a ton, yes probably, if only a few doubtful.
If you're a commuter, just be ready to go the day its assigned as you may not have time to make it the next morning(day of trip).
They cant start your day 1 before your original start time, but day 2 forward they can hit you with the early departures if necessary.
Good luck

It's nice to be paid to stay home, but as a commuter it sucks because they can put a 6am flight on you tomorrow and you didnt find out until noon the day prior. So now your behind the 8 ball on checking in for a flight since you now have to leave that day.

If a trip is removed for IOE, what is the likelihood of getting assigned something, and will it be the day before if I know anything, or more advanced sometimes?
Does reserve coverage have anything to do with it, ie, only gonna get re-assigned if reserve coverage gets low?
I realize I am liable till noon the prior day for any re-assignment.

I have lost over a dozen trips to IOE so far this year. I have only been rescheduled for two fly days out of those 48+ days of paid vacation.
You will NOT be telephoned or e-mailed or HI6'd to notify you. According to the contract (and an argument I had with scheduling over an almost missed assignment) for IOE reassignment the ONLY thing they have to do is place it on your schedule. You are responsible for checking your CCI each day at noon. So, at 12:01pm open CCI and refresh it. Screen cap that it's empty for the next day, then close the app AND DO NOT REOPEN IT.
One of my two flight assignments was placed on my schedule after I had checked it at noon, but since I had a screen capture showing it was empty at noon... I was not responsible the next day when it was a MA. I asked why I hadn't been called, and was told after a 15 minute hold that the way they read the schedule I was not required to be called or contacted. Just that I was responsible for checking my CCI. Then I reminded them I had a screenshot of my empty CCI calendar... and it was suddenly not a MA.
But, the big question you asked is the likelyhood of reassignment. I've had two days of reassignment, where one was a CDO and one was a single GRR turn out of ORD. Out of all the IOE trips I've lost, that means you have less than a 5% chance of being reassigned... if you go by my anecdotal experiences.
Also, expect them to be ****ty trips. I was not excited about having to commute from Florida to ORD for a single GRR turn... but, I can;t complain too much after all that paid time off...

I thought they wouldn't assign anything until the day before, but that is not how it works. Rather they can assign trips until that day.
