I'm curious as to how often a +1000 121 hour FO line holder's sequence will be given to a -1000 121 hour FO.
If it's often and you're senior enough to hold your FO seat, sounds like just one more reason to not upgrade to me.

Certain envoy recruiters are advertising on their personal Facebook pages that envoy has implemented an extra $23,000 signing bonus for prior 121 pilots. This now brings the new hire signing bonus total to $45,100. Now, let's add the 45K in addition to the first year pay of a new hire FO. It doesn't take a smart man to realize that first year FO's with prior 121 time are going to be making a hell of a lot more money sitting in the right seat than that poor guy that the company forced to upgrade against his will. It's truly sad that we're in this situation. Also, this is yet another instance of us finding out about a change to our bonus/pay structure on social media before we hear about it from the company or our union. The silence is deafening.
Forget about getting pay rates to match Endeavor. This is the companies counter measure. They will see how this works for awhile and only then will they even entertain the idea of permanent pay rates.

So..as a current Captain with a plethora of 121 time..I'm thinking about quitting. Then getting rehired at Envoy...it'll be a nice pay raise. Plus it'll take care of my pesky seat lock situation. I'll color my hair orange for my Envoy reincarnation..maybe even grow a 'stache.

Supposedly there is only 20 slots for the additional 23k. That info came straight From the head of recruitment. It’s in a “trial phase”.

I don't know about the QOL on the CRJ, but the CRJ is going to be around for the foreseeable future. The transfers to PSA are stopping. PSA can't staff them and they have just been sitting around as spares and not flying. AAG is keeping them here so they'll actually fly and make money.

I admittedly have no idea how the planes are being utilized, and frankly I don't care. Just relaying what was said on a conference call. Regardless, the transfers are stopping. I wish we could get rid of them and be done with it. That dying fleet needs to be put out of its misery.

The CRJ transfer stopping rumor has been around for months yet every month another one goes right over to PSA. 513 went over at the end of August and I saw it in CLT flying revenue the next week.
This simply just isn't true right now.
