jacburn isn’t gonna be unemployed. Through a combination of calculated risk and sheer luck, he’s one of the few who is in a relatively safe position.

Congrats on high morals!
“lose”. One O.

And as hateful as his response is....maybe don’t talk smack if you can’t handle the reply.

In mking84’s defense......I actually know him personally, and he’s also a total a-hole in real life....lol

Great. Another "mainline" guy that knows everything and does not like being told he does not know what is going on in the industry so he attacks those that point out his mistakes. Enjoy Skypest.

Actually they're all lease birds. All 270 of them.

In reality almost all aircraft are in some sort of lease arrangement for FASB accounting reasons. What we should speak of is who controls the asset. In this case United. Many of Skywest's and Republic's aircraft are leased but by them not their 'mainline' partner.

But, There’s something to be said about the guys who stayed at express for life, never missed the holidays or kids events, and got the schedule they wanted.
Both have advantages. It's up to the individual to decide.

Near as I can tell, most of the Republic birds are owned, not leased. I've found a few registrations that have a bank as the owner, and 741-753YX are owned by United, but the overwhelming majority seem to have the owner as Republic Airways, Inc. Of the 40 or so I checked, only 2 have had someone other than Republic as the owner.

We had a guy who was on the Bus at Delta. Came back to Compass due to family issues apparently. To this day I could never understand that decision.
