The one big change I noticed is the requirement to fill out the sleep study worksheet. If you don't fill that form out, your fatigue event will be rejected and it will be an unpaid occurrence.

My last fatigue event, I didn't need to fill that out. Granted scheduling did some shady stuff to make something "legal" when it wasn't, I still called in fatigued. I shot Mr. Tutt an e-mail and he replied within 3 hours. Fatigue event was reviewed and approved within 2 days.

Woo!

I wonder if they have some plans for those 12 200s leaving at the end of the year and/or they have seen the staffing for the CAs finally.

I wouldn't think so, or there would be more upgrades between now and August. I think we will get hammered over the summer, then we should be right sized by the time the 12 200's leave.

We're losing 14 CR2s this fall, and more to come in 2014 and 2015 until the 66 CR2(combined with SKYW) we agreed to shed for the 34 large RJ quota is met.

More critical, is the rate reset for the Delta CR2 fleet that comes in December 2014. We will have to match Pinnacle's rates or else. Reference every single BH update about how we're cutting cost but have a "long" way to go.

Oh, and Delta has told Pinnacle they won't be losing all their CR2s since they "played ball". Coincidence? I tell ya what, they not paying RA $7 mil for nothing. House of Cards.... The Airline Version

Yeah, I called in a few weeks ago and they approved the fatigue event but sent the sleep form a couple of days later. I considered it optional then but I'm guessing they want to change that. The new FOM section seems to imply that the FRC won't review your case without the sleep form.

I'm curious where you heard all of these CRJ's leave in 2014 & 2015. Yes, 66 need to leave but I believe 11 went to Dallas, 12 went to LAX, 14 leave Atlanta to the desert by December, and the rest come from SkyWest. Our next contract is up in 2015 and is the IAD flying. After that our Delta contracts go until 2020 or later. If we lose anymore it will be because of performance breaking the contract (possible this summer) or we agree to a 2 for one type deal.

I've always believed in the rate reset but called a rep last week to ask some questions about negotiations etc. He said that is just a rumor and scare tactic. Not sure if I believe him.

As of last week Pinnacle will have no CR2's. where did you hear this? I'm guessing a crew room rumor.

Remember that was the first wave, Delta still has to deploy 30 CRJ 900 they have options for as well as the rest of the 88 B-717 they have leased, that could be what he is implying as far as the airplanes leaving in 2015.

Combined with SKYW 29 CR2s will need to be returned by 2015 and I don't know the exact numbers but all 29 won't be just from the Skywest side.

The rate reset is no rumor or scare tactic. It's real and written in Inc's 10-K. Come Dec. 2014 Expressjet will be paid the 2nd lowest rate amoung DCI carriers or they can opt out of the contract.

As far as the PNCL keeping some of their 200s, I understand it was told to the pilot group from management, which now happens to be Delta
