Guys, when interviewing at expressjet, is it for a specific airframe? How long to hold a line in ATL? What are the min days off per month? How likely is it to get ATL out of training? Thanks

You interview for both frames , when they gave you a class date they told you the equipment , atlanta is senior , you can be on reserve for 2 years easily compared to l-xjt (3mnths reserve) , Min 11 days off on reserve and 12 line holder

Interview has not been airframe specific. Classes are airframe specific. Right now an Atlanta line will take 2 to 3 1/2 years. It is possible to get ATL out of training, but you will go where they need you. Position notices are occurring about every 3 months or so, which gives you an opportunity to bid to another base if you don't like the one you are in. Hope that helps.

Keep in mind some are saying 2 years on reserve. That is the absolute minimum right now. 700/900 is 3-4 years right now as an FO from what I understand. I was on reserve for over 5 years on the 700. Broke aaaannnd Broken. Since ATL is shrinking a little and other bases are shrinking even more, I can't imagine reserve becoming quicker. Good news though. You don't have to call for release any longer. That's huge actually.
