Yes but my predictions are coming true....Don't worry about our MEC and I won't worry about yours. I'm OK letting you guys do your own thing now.

If you didn't care you would not be on here attacking everyone all the time.

Bingo. He's scared to death because he's burned all his aviation bridges and is stuck at ExpressJet for the rest of his career. He and his buddies that are in the same boat have been putting on a fear and misinformation campaign for months now all over the internet, trying to scare others into caving on their principles. It's obviously frustrating to them that it's not working. Makes for good entertainment; not much else.

Hey look everyone...Another LXJT MEC member coming out of the wood work. After the rough week you guys have had I can understand why y'all are starting to run scared. The music just stopped and you don't have a chair to sit in.

More Jedi mind tricks. After today's announcement about Republic getting the last of the UAL growth airplanes, we're not the ones who need to be worried. The future is bright for everyone currently on the ASA seniority list.

LXJT guys, I am just a regular line pilot, and have had mostly good interaction with the LXJT folks I come in to contact with. There is, however, one big issue with PBS that most of us take issue with. Here it is, the best I can explain it.

First, Flightline is a tried and tested product that has resulted in a much better quality of life for MOST of the LASA folks. We spent a lot of money developing it over time and got a better overall QOL with it. Second, our understanding of SmartPref is that it may result in a poorer QOL for LASA due to globalization. Third, SmartPref has no successful track record from which we can accurately compare. Fourth, SmartPref, according to my understanding, will result in a poorer QOL for all the LXJT guys as compared with current line bidding. Fifth, the majority of LXJT people I hear from don't want Flightline because it wasn't their idea. So, the belief on our side is that , since you folks have more pilots than we do, we need to roll over and accept a PBS system that looks like it will negatively affect all of the pilots in our group (4500 ish) just because it is the brain child of the LXJT negotiators instead of being willing to seriously consider Flightline, which has positively impacted over 1700 of our pilots, and may actually be better for the LXJT group than SmartPref. It seems as if ya'll think that, if we are going to have to get a PBS system, it should get worse for everybody.

Final note, most of us just want this behind us, so let's negotiate something REASONABLE and move on.

Sorry... No relation to MEC or any other union position. Just sick of all the crap you two keep posting on here.

ASA folks take action and remove this guy from your negotiating team.

They know it's inferior. Their reps have even admitted they know it's inferior. The dirty little secret is that they are using it as a concession to keep their outliers and protect their senior pilots. That's right. Selling QOL, particularly on the ASA side, to keep those expensive items in their contract no one else has. And we have told them to shove it. That's why they want me removed now. Even though I'm just a cog in the machine.

Cpt Tony speaks the truth....and they can't handle the truth. The best thing we can do on the ASA side is just sit tight and wait now. My crystal ball says there is some good news coming to the ASA side soon and not so good news for the LXJT side. Their side chose to delay things and trade ASA QOL for their outliers. It didn't work and now they are panicking. Just sit back and let things unfold the next few months.
