And you aren’t sitting for 8-10 hours. International sounds like it’s cool... until you do it for a few years.

This is really difficult for me to believe. I can get my head wrapped around you making more than him, but also working "way" less than him? How? The only way you're beating a Legacy CA in his 60's, which means he's topped out, and don't forget his DC, is if you're flying 95 hours a month and 25% to half of that is out of the premium folder.

You are a liar. It’s just that simple.

6 year Captain here on reserve north of 320k for the year. I know guys who Pick up premium on the regular seating around 400k for the year. Why so hard to believe?

It's the "I work way less than him" part I'm stuggling with.

He's been rubbing it in our noses since he left, and will continue to do so I'm sure, but regretful? Seriously doubt it. And I love it here, so I'm not even saying he has it better, I'm just saying I think he's glad he left.

Keep in mind that this year’s year-to-date paystubs include a substantial retro/signing bonus. My YTD is in excess of $300k and I’m on reserve.

I’m sorry you’re right when I meant he works harder I meant he commutes and gets less days off than me. I’m sure his work is easier because he’s not doing domestic flying. Anyway there’s pros and cons to both companies but advice to someone younger that wonders why we haven’t left it’s because we have it pretty good now.

to make 320k/yr at $210/hr you have to credit 126hrs every month. That's a lot, you work too much!
