How long for a contract?

Back of the napkin math I did about a year ago when he said it meant that was about 150M per year. I figured our contract would cost at least 250M per year to get us to legacy rates. Again really rough math there and something I could definitely be wrong on.

With the financials public, who really thinks F9 can afford a new contract? We all want a new contract but bottom line, the company CANNOT afford it. I've seen guys/gals posting on FB about the decrease in block hours year over year, quarter over quarter.. Revenue shrinking quarter over quarter. Planes sitting on the ramp. Do they not get it? They're making changes to the "New Frontier" because they're not making any money and they need to try something different. If we get a contract anytime soon, buckle up because we'll be right where NK is.

This has to be a joke, right? Revenue isn't down. Per the most recent filing net income is UP for Q3 compared to 2023 and UP for the first nine months of 2024 compared to 2023. . As mentioned previously, company is forecasting double digit margins in 2025. Further, Frontier will not be "right where NK is" even if we get DAL +2% rates (not going to happen, just making a point). Spirit filed for a number of reasons...they were hammered by the powdered metal flaw worse than any other airline...their margins were running as bad as -30% quarterly...and they borrowed $3 billion dollars. Frontier has zero debt with the exception being aircraft pdp's and Frontier has the lowest CASM and even with a 50% raise in pilot hourly rates (again, not going to happen, just making another point) our CASM will still be at the lower end of the industry. Frontier doesn't have a CASM problem they have a challenge with RASM and industry events are helping solve the RASM challenge.
If those double digit margins are coming, I would say credit must be given to those running the show. But also, FYPU

The expression is FYPM; I thought? I don’t know maybe I’m not hip.

The days of a bunch of pilots watching movies in the crash pad are over, I guess.
No one knows movie quotes anymore!

That is exactly the mindset the company loves you to have. Let's stay underpaid so they can reward themselves. When the price of fuel goes up, companies adjust. Same with labor costs. I've yet to see ever an airline who went out of business because their pilot costs were too high.
