Yep, people slip through the cracks for sure. I really don't think I would take SW over frontier though. That guy will probably not upgrade at SW for 20 years, while he might have upgraded at Frontier in 2 years. But to each their own.

57 97 107 119 130 136 139 143 144 148 150 151
= $1,521,000 over 12 years / $2,729,000 over 20 years
F9 Uprade after 3 years
38 63 71 145 147 151 153 156 159 162 164 167
= $1,576,000 over 12 years / $2,912,00 over 20 years
WN Upgrade after 8 years
57 97 107 119 130 136 139 143 214 216 216 216
= $1,790,000 over 12 years / $3,518,000 over 20 years
--WN will clock you a cool ~$750 more per year in Perdiem than F9.
--At WN you get a proven successful long term company with economy of scale
--At F9 you've got a somewhat risky yet possibly very profitable growth play.
--At WN you get a pilot's airplane with cramped quarters and lots of levers. Lands long, taxies fast!
--At F9 you get a comfy office with lots of room, a desk, and buttons that push and pull. Lands in the threshold, taxi speeds vary.
--At WN you get 4 to 6 legs a day flying with an ex- squadron commander or ex regional chief pilot.
--At F9 you get 1 to 3 legs a day flying with yet another laid back cool dude from every walk of life.
Money isn't everything
I pick here!
Wait, does Southwest do Redeyes?

Actually i had all those numbers available from running my own analysis a year ago.
Barley, it was a tounge in cheek post, surprised u didnt see it... All joking aside, you are absolutely correct. And that is why if we are as profitable going forward as they expect us to be, we need a paradigm shift style contract! But will it happen?
