Yep, people slip through the cracks for sure. I really don't think I would take SW over frontier though. That guy will probably not upgrade at SW for 20 years, while he might have upgraded at Frontier in 2 years. But to each their own.

--At F9 you get a comfy office with lots of room, a desk, and buttons that push and pull. Lands in the threshold, taxi speeds vary.

--At WN you get 4 to 6 legs a day flying with an ex- squadron commander or ex regional chief pilot.

--At F9 you get 1 to 3 legs a day flying with yet another laid back cool dude from every walk of life.

Incredibly flawed analysis. You're not looking at WN's superior medical plan, incredibly generous retirement plan, work rules that allow them to make far beyond the simple hourly rate calculations you listed, etc.. We will never come close to it.
