Ground school is in PDX, sims in SEA for the Q400 and STL for the jet.
Company provides hotel, no per diem, training pay is 4 hours per day under new contract. Some days are 8 hours long, others way shorter. The jet uses a home study course so you aren't even there.
If LOA passes and rates go to $40.00 first year it will basically be a month of ground school at min guarantee (70 hours).
Crashpads are pretty easy to find, there's postings in the crew rooms and new hire class rooms.

Thanks! Appreciate the info. What do typical days look like when flying? 3 or 4 day trips? Overnights, short or long? How many legs per day? New hire bonus paid out before training?

Most days are at least 4 legs, some days 5-6. Lots of four day trips with inefficient days but the company will be paying for that when the 4.2 daily min comes out if the LOA passes.
New hire bonus is still probably being paid out before training.

Mostly 3-4 day trips. Overnights on average I'd say are around 12-13 hours, short overnights are 10 hours and long ones are 15-17 hours.

Just want to add, your hotel during training will be double occupancy. You can pay an extra grand or so if you want a single room.

Snackysmores, thanks again for all the great info.. What is the interview like? Any written ATP style exam? I have about 2800 hours of 121 time in several turbo props and jets including heavy time but haven't flown professionally in 6-7 years. I do have about 20 hours single engine logged in the past year with some touch n go's and approaches. Having said that, am I likely to interview and be hired? Thanks again! No degree either. Last job was flying heavies for an ME3 carrier 6 years ago.
With your background I can't imagine you wouldn't get the offer. They are taking everyone they can get for the Q400.

I would head over to https://www.aviationinterviews.com/ for the latest gouges, although it's very simple. No written test. Just an HR, technical, and chief pilot portion. HR is a few TMAAT questions followed by reviewing credentials and background info. Technical is IFR stuff, jepps etc, and chief pilot meet is them just looking over your logbooks and asking a few more questions, it felt informal even when I did it years ago when they we're being picky.
