Not understanding what an r180 is...

Ultimately, including the transitions/upgrades/new hires/recurrents, I'm not sure you are appreciating how much training is needed through TWO sims. And since it doesn't appear any other airline was "JetBlue wise" enough to have dual HUD E90s, there is no where else to train them.

Others seem to understand this, yet you seem not to?

So, those 97 moving to the A320 from the e190 must be replaced. That's in addition to the new hire vacancies, those that are staying on the e190 but must go through upgrade training to captain, and all recurrents for the aircraft. With two sims.

Do you or do you not see that as a problem?

Also, I think you meant to say "fixed it for you so it wasn't complete nonsense".

You knew what I meant, stop being so obtuse over an obvious typo. And no, I don't see our growth as a problem like you do. I think it's a good thing. You cried that we were not growing and upgrading, then when we do, you see it as a problem. It's a shame you can't see the REAL problem.

Who cares how/when they are going to train everybody? Not our problem. This all could have been avoided/easier if they would have not sold 2 e190 sims and not fûcked with the 190 pay.

Will be interesting to see how they will handle the annual system bid in August.

Anyone think Bus Capt will drop below 4 yrs again?

I’m thinking no. There’s enough of a pay differential and more locals in the north east than there used to be. They’re willing to sit reserve from home.

I think it could go to 3.5 to 4 years if the NEOs arrive anywhere close to as scheduled. When the Airbus FO payscale is in the $150/hr range at the same seniority level, I think you’ll see many stay in the right seat until their QOL is at a comfortable level to make a move. Maybe it’s happening now and why it went to a 2014 hire in JFK.

Who knows but this is always the junior bid right? Our first annual bid is a game changer since I don't know what is going on tomorrow let alone next November?.....

Ehhh sometimes I think bludriver gets forum pms he got into with another guy over nothing and I’m sure I’ll get it by saying this. You are both right, the hiring is good but god knows how they will pull it off. Gee who could have seen that coming. But these are nice upgrade times to see.
