Carry on.
I am here at B6, don’t plan on going anywhere.. I had the opportunity to go to UAL in 2013 as I was in their hiring pool left over from Feb 2008. All of my friends at UAL told me to stay at B6 as they hated going to work. It looks like we all may end up at UAL anyway, sometimes it’s hard to fight fate. Call me crazy but I still like going to work..

And to your point why didn’t they vote no? Because it only affected a small amount of their group? It should have been voted down.

Shhh you are going to make him mad.
To bad they didn’t care about that small plane because it sure was held against us. I do like apa pilots thumping their chest, no irony in there at all.

Frankly it’s all BS. The E jets were sold short from the get go because the didn’t have a B or an A in front of them and the type rating says ERJ. It’s not a “mainline” jet.
...BS.

I'd be happy if I was paid what everyone else is. Including profit sharing.

It's kind of hard to negotiate on behalf of a bunch of hyperboys. Wish we could have had a strike vote just to show the world what kind of group this is. At least then maybe shame would have kept people from applying here.

Gojets has nothing on this group from what I hear.

We should talk in person or when when we fly together although you would probably not reveal who you are to have some real conversation.....

I am concerned that you think your "pulpit" typing will get us a better contract. The hard work is done far from this board.

So you know what I'm talking about then. We will leave it at that.

See you at the next yes vote.

And yes we would have. Artificially applying a 90% Bus rate to the 190 wasn’t sustainable. This shift was inevitable. Might be just as big when junior guys jump off the 320/321 and bid the 220 because those rates will be close.
Why isn't it sustainable? The E190 is essentially the same as a B717. Delta's A321 rate is only 11% more than the B717 rate. Our rates should say "small narrow body," "medium narrow body and "large narrow body." That might solve the problem, because too many people focus on the manufacturer instead of what it actually is.

Then use THOSE facts when negotiating, not arbitrarily tying one aircraft type to another's pay scale. I'm all for getting the most we can for each aircraft type we end up with. But I'm not for assigning a % between them that will raise the rate of one at the expense of another. Especially when the rate getting supressed is far and away the greater number of aircraft in our inventory.
