It’s true. Ask me how I know.

Paper DH credit is going away when the global Open time “improvement” goes into effect.

Btw we have global open time now. It’s called vda with paper dh credit.

Another improvement that is less than what we have now!!!
Global open time is not like VDA and you know that. Especially now that they don’t really give you the trip details.

I think global open time and the premium would bet better for the overall group vs the VDA.

I think the premium open time will be more transparent and accessible to more of the group, but will pay less (150 vs 190) and will not have the paper DH credit associated with it. So he's correct, probably much less expensive to the company, which means less money going to the pilots. On the other hand, the extra money that does go to the pilots will probably be less concentrated in a small percentage of helpers.

As I said from the beginning, global and premium open time will essentially end the VDA program. Will there be occasions when they’re needed? Sure. But nowhere near the level they’re paying out now.

Paper DHD credit is huge. That makes every VDA done in FLL for a BOS pilot worth 11.4 (6x1.9) more than the block/rig itself. That adds up.

Well yes obviously bluejetdork knows it’s not the same. I agree it will be cheaper for the company and will definitely open up premium time to the rest of the group. Some will like that some won’t. I think it’s better for the group but obviously others don’t share that opinion. (Which is fine)

It’s JB CBA 1.0 standard. Kill any/all benefits for anyone with any seniority.
