If you are a student of aviation history, then you already know that regionals only have about a 15-year shelf life. You’ve already been there for 7, so at best you have another 6 or 8 years to enjoy that cash cow.

Your regional will tank right about the same time your kids start college, your boat needs a new engine, or your wife finds a lump. In other words, the best time to leave “any regional” for “any major” is Yesterday.

Hey Brian, that's fascinating but, who asked?

And good luck with that.

Thats not how this works. You go to JB, get your type rating, and get your legacy class date. Wife, kids, and mortgage will be taken care of left seat at a legacy making $330 an hour.

No one actually expects you to stay at Jetblew.

Both of these numbers are inaccurate. Please let's try and do better when we post about things such as this. Numbers matter!

Doesn't matter who lied to you. Still wrong. And I know when you posted it, and the numbers were wrong for the month to which you were referring.

I know a guy who knows a gal who is good with numbers, and she says it's 487/323 for the year.

all attrition, but mostly just quits. The rate has significantly picked up again in November. Almost 2 per day for the month.
