Reserve at JetBlue

If you are a student of aviation history, then you already know that regionals only have about a 15-year shelf life. You’ve already been there for 7, so at best you have another 6 or 8 years to enjoy that cash cow.
Your regional will tank right about the same time your kids start college, your boat needs a new engine, or your wife finds a lump. In other words, the best time to leave “any regional” for “any major” is Yesterday.

I’m a 7 year Captain at a regional, making pretty good money, and living 15 minutes away from base. If I jump to Jet Blue, I’ll take a major financial hit the first year, plus give up my 15 minute commute to work. Not sure I’m willing to make all these sacrifices, especially since I have a wife, a kid and a mortgage to pay.
And good luck with that.

Doesn't matter who lied to you. Still wrong. And I know when you posted it, and the numbers were wrong for the month to which you were referring.
I know a guy who knows a gal who is good with numbers, and she says it's 487/323 for the year.
