Love the NAS turns when you're pin duty for 9.5 hours with no access to food.

Gup
I do this all day long.

Also I’ve cleared customs in NAS to get food.

Never fly hangry.

Stop setting your bar so low. Nutritious meals are important for health and safety. Other airlines get them. So should you.
I didn’t. Out MEC and NC did. It seems like we didn’t pushed too hard for certain things if we thought the company might get upset.

- I'm scared to fight for what I'm really worth, I'll act tough but when the rubber meets the road, you'll get a yes vote from me. Let's just all get along and move on.
- This fighting is hard and makes me sad.
So true sir, so true.

And do so without getting scoffed at and attacked by the gate. Not my problem the line is 40 deep.
I don’t give a crap what the gate says if I’m hungry. If they try to say something I say I’m getting food or calling in fatigued for lack of food and they can deal with the passengers when the flight cancels.

I don't want a company telling me what I can eat.

Um, wow... Maybe you should ponder that response for a little while.

It’s really this simple. Myself and my crew require food. We’re going to get food. We’ll be back then we’re taking 20min to eat. Then we can board. Never had an issue.

Edit: once i was asked to explain why we took a delay for this situation.
Simple explanation of mx and wx delays and nutrition requirements. Non event.

It really isn’t as hard as people make it. I don’t need a contract to tell me when and where I can eat.

Gents I get what you are saying and I agree if you need food a delay will be taken.

My point was we supposedly negotiated “meals” but in reality we negotiated snack boxes. Not what I expected nor would I have given anything up for that crap. I get we have a few mint flights but the majority are not.

We negotiated what was available on thenplane already. Nothing that really wasn’t available already. If it’s a “normal” flt normal crap. If it’s a mint flt “mint” crap.

Personally I don’t want to eat any of it.
