I don’t agree with it. It should be paid more. But it is what it is.

And for the foreseeable future if you’re coming to newb school at blewjet. You’ll be on the 190.
Oh yeah. The days of new hire A320 pilots are gone for a while. At least until the bids settle down. But anyone who does happen to get it will be on reserve forever as the people come over above them.

Yep. If any new hire bids to the bus they are asking for trouble. (Unless the are local, and they will still get used everyday)

E190 pay should be higher, but that wasn't exactly my point. Someone said that comparing our A320 upgrade to other airlines junior upgrade wasn't fair, because they were ignoring our E190 upgrade. But our E190 upgrade doesn't pay NEARLY as well as the junior equipment at every other actual major airline. Well, except AA's toy fleet of E180s that affect about 1ish-2ish percent of the AA seniority list....

Hoping for a merger.

Approximate average 3rd year captain rate of major airlines EXCLUDING Delta (their rates are missing from APC) and excluding AAs tiny toy fleet of E180s is $242.

Our 3rd year junior captain rate $189.

Not that $53 per hour counts for anything...

Standing by to be blasted by the usual defender squad.

Get the F over it guys. Seriously. We have a contract and aren’t in Section 6 for several more years.
