Not that $53 per hour counts for anything...

Standing by to be blasted by the usual defender squad.
Delta has 3 year CA's but no one else does. Not really a comparison. The reason upgrade it so short on the 190 at AA is because of the pay.

JetBlue has better pay than AA on the E190 by far.

Didn’t the Delta guys all start going backwards as the 88s are leaving or are they still running super short upgrades?

I love that my "contractual meal if available" is a lousy eat up box. An over priced box full of sh!t ingredients that you wouldn't even find at a road side gas station.
Each time I read or experience another section of our contract I realize how over matched our NC truly was.

And I tried telling everyone they were selling it just like a used car salesmen would their crappy car but everyone believed them. So many concessions as well that benefit the company tremendously. Just wait till they only have to get you back on your scheduled pairing when you get back to base. Hello to being a RSV pilot for a few days.

Hopefully the next NC(in 7 years)will learn from the colossal mistakes the current NC made.

What would you like the company to feed you?

Absolutely. In fact, that was considered a “market rate” request. Again, intent versus reality in the language.

No, I’m asking you. What kind of food do you want the company to feed you?

Honestly, I expected something along the lines of a sandwich which is very similar to what our peers are able to get at a minimum. Never expected the boxes to become a “meal”.

And, yes, I expected the airline to provide real food regardless of what the passengers had. We had it before so there is no excuse for not having it again.

Well on some flights they do offer you a sandwich, salad, yogurt, etc. On mint they offer pretty much whatever is on the menu (sometimes things run out). Many flights over 3.5 hours now have “fresh” food and if you ask, the FAs will usually just give you what you want early (not including Mint). A lot not to love in the CBA, I wasn’t expecting much out of the crew meal section.
