I do know that they are hiring from the October 13th, 2011 interview date.
If you are a FO with no PIC, you are a first priority for B6:
Here is a quote from our VP of Flight Ops:
"Our partnership with Cape Air paved the way for our Gateway Program, bringing us the ability to hire new Pilots with the skills and experience we require"
Welcome to jetBlue regional airline I wish you all best of luck, but grass here is not green, it's already dry.

That only applies to our gateway pilots, which there are only a hand full of. JetBlue is far from a regional, I agree we need a CBA for industry standard compensation but dude if you don't think of yourself as a major airline pilot do you think management ever will, if you want to think of your self as a regional pilot then go right ahead but I won't be joining you in that thought. I know this place needs some improvement but negative attitudes don't solve the problems we have, they only make them worse. I have worked at a regional, I will never do it again. This is a great place to work, we need some improvements but no place is perfect.

I was told I was #7 earlier in the year and no call here yet either. Also per one of the last posts talking about ranking people in the pool, I had a blue dart. I hadn't heard anything about the order changing. If anyone has any further info on that it would be appreciated. Just patiently waiting.
Thanks!

Relax, I was just pointing out some BS our VP sends to our pilots.

Maruster has stated multiple time in his monthly calls that JetBlue is seriously looking into the ab initio program. If the legacys begin to hire once again these programs could be a source of pilots for JetBlue. We are not the desirable job anymore. Management will reap what is sows.

However it is clear by all the RSA's that we need to upgrade people.
I doubt they will feel comfortable entering the holiday season with current staffing levels. They were practically begging for 190 Captains to pick up trips to avoid cancellation last week. I wouldn't doubt at least 25 new hires trained up by Thanksgiving.

I've heard from several sources that the order has changed. Very unfortunate to tell people that have been on hold for a year their number, then change it. Not good for morale.

Just landed in PHNL, Duke's Mai Tai's will fix this mood.
