Time to bring this thread back on track.

This thread is just for information pertaining to pilot poolies (we all know the kind of information they are looking for).

We have two other threads about jetBlue where the back and forth between posters can go. Not at all saying dont post whats on your mind, just saying to post it in a more appropriate place.

Bluedriver,

Why dont you ask Jetblue how many physical therapy sessions a pilot gets for the calendar year 2012 compared to 2011. Ask Jetblue about 2010. I'll tell you, about 50% less.

Ask how many chiropractic visits you are eligible for compared to 2010 and 2011.
I'll tell you, about 50% less.
Ask the pilots who have needed these therapies how many more sessions they could have used. Ask them how many sessions CBA carriers provide.

Exclamation

Please take this to another thread, as this has nothing to do with the JetBlue pilot poolies.

A pilot I recently spoke with spends upwards of $7000 per month providing care for his child while Jetblue spends countless amounts of dollars in the public eye only.

This is reality at Jetblue.

This is the reality bluedriver and the other ignorant anti-union proponents don't want you to hear about. Bluedriver and the rest are more than happy to keep their collective heads buried in the sand while many of our pilots struggle.

Ask bluedriver how other pilots on disability are doing. Ask him for some of their stories. Ask him how they are being treated.
That's all cute, but I'm pro-union chief.

Yep, still pro-union chief.

I know a pilot that left JetBlue for that reason, had a son that was autistic. Wonder if it's the same person. This is the kind of stuff that has to change with health insurance.

Kinda curious on the whole "order change" thing for the poolies. I was #43, so it's not like it affects me tons in the short term, but going from #43 to, say #83, would certainly suck....

I was an October 14th afternoon interview.

I have same good news! UACAL is about to recall all their pilots, I know at least 7 pilots that are thinking of going back, two instructors from JBU. I'm sure there are many more junior guys that will jump ship. My predictions, by May of next year you all will be here, and JB will have a lot of problems keeping pilots on the property if compensation and benefits don't change. Stay tune for October UA announcement of recalls and at least one class of about 15 in JB.
I hope this sounds a bit more positive, we all know that there are some issues that needs to be address in JB, but I'm positive next 12 months will be very interesting. I'll post any updates about hiring and new classes I have fresh info from my friends at JBU on daily basis.
Our deliveries are late for this quarter, I'm not sure if we are going to get all at the same time. Good friend of mine is one that flys them out of France to US, and he told me, that at leat two are late.

I've talked to a couple of CAs over at B6 that are furloughed Delta/NWA. To almost a one they are talking about going back. Just to toss it in perspective, they'd make almost the same $$$ wise as an FO on the 767 as they make as a CA on the 320.

Next year is going to be interesting industry wide....assuming we make it past 12/21/2012. Damn Mayans.

These next couple of years should get real interesting as people leave JB to go to legacy carriers, heck 1st year pay at DAL is equal to 2nd year pay. Hence I am keeping my DAL App up to date.
