During my LOE the instructor said they where all just informed in a briefing to be ready for new hire classes by September.

I can't control it, and if I got spun up about every aviation news article, I'd be in an asylum by now. I'm just taking it one day at a time and waiting to see what happens. If they merge with AMR, that's life. It could be good, it could be bad. They will likely flush the pool (that's what happened to NWA guys in the pool when Delta bought them), or they may decide to keep them. Either way, there's nothing I can do.
Stressing over all the reports that come out about speculative mergers and acquisitions it's completely useless. All it does it get you put on blood pressure meds to keep your medical....
