You may not like LA's posts but the guy has put himself out there more than you ever will. Keep on voting no, keep accepting Jetblue's tired rhetoric and substandard benefits and let the rest of the group make things better for you and your family. There's a daryl in every bunch.

I agree Benz, JB has become a watered down version of Mesa or maybe worse. What people complain about is that the company doesn't do this or that. Well guess what, they are in business to please shareholders and a BOD not the pilot group. This is just the way it is and they are never going to change cause of pilots complaining. This place will never be a place for the career minded, especially with the large number of captains in their 30's and 40's. I think a new hire can expect 10+ years before upgrading to captain.
This place is far from perfect, but a watered down version of mesa of wrose? Are you F'ing kidding me? You have either never flown for mesa, or have a terrible memory..

The BOD keeps stalling for years and years on these issues while people say the same old thing like, "they are trying to fix it." People are tired of hearing they are working on it and while we are on that subject how many years have gone by since the first union vote? Could have had a cba by now but nah we will be good right? Mediocrity celebrated once again.

Hired end of 2007, 41 years old.. predicted retirement position based off only age 65 attrition mid 500's, attrition next 8 years above me.. less than 20 a year. Upgrade to Airbus captain based on retirements and no growth looks like another 8 or so years for me.
This year I got a pay raise.. but they spread the flying out by increasing the number of pilots and number of lines so I am down about $14k to this point
I don't trust management to do the right thing. I don't trust them to even do what they agreed to do in writing. Too many promises broken, ignored.. passed off as having come from the last guy who held that position(revolving door middle management.. perhaps fall guys for the head honcho??).
I am seriously considering other options. Getting my ducks in a row to apply elsewhere.

While I can fully understand why JetBlue doesn't want ALPA I don't understand NO UNION at all. JMHO.
