NEW bonuses are gone. Existing bonus contracts are not. Stop your lying. If they can say well we are cancelling it then I guess your payback is cancelled. Quit now.

Any new hire who took the bonus that gets furloughed for 120 consecutive days no longer owes back any portion of the bonus. I'm reading the bonus agreement. Also 36 months after IOE is complete and these guys haven't been allowed to upgrade they are owed another 20k. Vote no.

Do you consider a referral bonus an “existing bonus”? Because Heather in Payroll told me that all bonuses are on hold including my two referral bonuses I had coming. Ironically, I still have not received my two referral bonuses. I guess she was correct. Side note:Union will not help because it’s not in our contract per Todd Hetler.

Edit: Sorry I meant Hanna not Heather

If you want the 20K you need to be on property accumulating longevity. If you want that then vote yes.

Also you mid range furlough safe FO’s in DFW and PHX - remember your time in IAD? Expect to go back because it’s a jr base for FO and it will need staffing. You are about to become a jr FO. THIS IS SIMPLY REALITY.

I was only talking about the 20k for not being Offered upgrade after 3 years. That you are owed. You won’t get it if you don’t accumulate longevity or are on furlough.

Do you know anyone that has met the requirements for the 20K bonus in the past few months that has received it? If there are some who have gotten it I could use that as leverage to get what they promised me. Because she told me all bonuses where put on hold and would be revisited this fall.

Can’t be legal that they could stiff you out of a contractual bonus that was already in effect. The whole premise was that you’d be eligible for a 20k bonus if it hit the fan and there was no way for you to upgrade. That’s exactly the situation we find ourselves in, how could they get out of paying that? I might touch base with HR to get the word from the top but if you get nowhere there I’d talk to an attorney.
