This is true. If we approve it - even with PSP 2.0 - it won't go away unless the language is changed.
I was for the original MOU at the time. I was relieved when it was rescinded by both sides. That said I have been in favor of a very limited MOU with reduced credit to eliminate furloughs. Talking with people though has rapidly changed my mind. That and living on min pay for the last 4 months. We can't give on the min. We CAN limit the max though to save the co money and allow them to assign more open time to the ample reserves instead of putting it out for pick up. Things like that, some better VLOA credit etc would help the company. Anything we do has to have language that will "encourage" the company to bring back those furloughed faster.

That's 1300 bucks in my pocket, or not! I don't work for charity. That's how it works in a seniority based airline.
As I said before: Why should I share my pay now when nobody shared their bonus with me?
No way, Jose.

I ain't going from 76 to 60 hours? For what? To subsidize the company?

So let me tell you exactly what it should be, a hard 76 hour limit to lines as long as there is even a single pilot on furlough.

Jesus Christ man, you aren’t even remotely listing to him, he’s saying a MOU to limit lines to something like 76-80 hours. Pull your head out of your you know what.

aka no one should be making more then min guarantee by default while your fellow pilots are on the street.
That is NOT A CONCESSION.
Is that clear enough for you?

HE IS NOT TALKING ABOUT REDUCING MINIMUM GUARANTEE HE IS INSTEAD SAYING THAT WE SHOULD HAVE AN MOU THAT SAYS IF PILOTS ARE FURLOUGHED THEN THE COMPANY CAN NOT AWARD LINES OF GREATER THEN THE MINIMUM GUARANTEE OF 76 HOURS.

Do you have ANY COMMON SENSE?
I hope you're not in the left seat for safety's sake.

Maximum.
There is NO current MOU limiting lines to where they are right now, if the company wanted to the could raise the limit of lines back up to 90+ hours. Therefore even more reserves and more ammunition to furlough.

EXPECT this month - no more that contract minimum long call reserves.
Expect next month 76 hour min - putting EVERYONE on reserve because the flying won't support a 76 hour line.

Not sure who you’re talking to. Nobody I know is willing to get furloughed over reduced line guarantee..it’s not just that there are no flying jobs..there are no jobs period. And again..it’s not long term..its a TEMPORARY MOU. Put a date on it..and go back to the table when things change..a vaccine..or whatever the mainstream public needs to get back on planes. You seriously think we will need to worry about a reduced line when the people come back? I was flying 100 hours a month until February. We need to buy time. Nothing more. You won’t quit? Why not? If you think it’s such a bad deal..you want to get furloughed?..you can sit around with no job for a year or whatever it takes? Must be in a different boat than everyone else.
