the difference between fleets fdp means that some fleets fly significantly more than others and therefore the pilots in those fleets can make significantly more money in the same amount of work days. A new hire pilot in the XLS will likely make at least 10K less than a new hire hired into the 350 at the same time and working the same amountbof days overall. This isn't very fair so we are hoping the next agreement has some mechanism that evens it out at least a little bit.

And a new-hire doesn’t get to pick their fleet. It is assigned by the company at the end of Indoc.

more like $30k less minimum if you're on the xls

FDP varies wildly even in the same fleet.

But that doesn't incentivize you to not fatigue. They only want you to not F bomb when they tack on more flying to your schedule. That's it.

It doesn’t? I missed where I go off duty when they slap another leg on my brief.

You don't go off duty. And on top of that you get paid more when they add the leg which is why people take it instead of fatigue. That's my point. Why pay you more to not fly when they can only pay you when they add more legs to the day...

Of course, I agree you should get a strait across pay raise no matter what you are doing, you guys deserve it. I'm just using managements argument as to why they will resist.

Doing it my way, you still get paid more to do the leg. Because if you decide then that you’re fatigued, you’re going off duty and that’s it for duty pay.
