I personally averaged 11-14% above base on my W-2 for the last 4 years. Being junior might have something to do with it. I get the junior 7/7 schedule every year that works most holidays. That holiday pay adds up in a hurry. Good Friday/Easter weekend is nice coin with 2 holidays.

Are the Phenom, XL and Sovereign still the likely first assignment airplanes? How hard do they work relative to other fleet types?

I actually sat in one of your Phenoms recently to confirm the "tight fit" reputation and I can confirm it. I really like that Garmin 3000 but there very little room up front.

I think those fleets are likely. They all work hard, but maybe the XL slightly less due to them being AOG often due to age.

bottom 400 guys should be falling over themselves to leave.

as NJA goes through its "fleet optimization" plan; less planes = less crews needed. Until you start seeing plane for plane replacement (not happening), crews are becoming dispensable.

When the furlough comes, you are going to see year 10, 12 guys out on the street. They'll be called DFs for "Double Furlough" but secretly we will think of them as "Dumb Fuc&$"

He is gone, he is one of the 2/2015 hires that left over 6 months ago.

This is why they aren't hiring. Nobody is retiring, and they are letting attrition cover their need to lose crews due to shrinkage. The pony and balloon champ chooses to ignore what is going on right in front of him, and what the DO has said out loud, from his mouth lol. The total fleet size is shrinking, and there is no expansion. It is 2017, the economy is booming, and they haven't hired a single pilot, and don't plan to for the rest of the year. To be a 12 year FO, and in real danger of being on the chopping block if NetJets decides to furlough, is really crappy. I know they are "righting the ship" but that doesn't mean for one second that the pilot group is safe.

VSP, attrition, and no hiring = shrinkage.

I went to JB, we've had expressjet, Virgin, 2 SWA. At least 1 guy is still waiting to hear from JB, another is taking the Hogan in a few weeks, another interviewed for a corporate Global position.
