Hey, I don't think it's gonna work out, but if you had to choose between going to 9k and taking a right-seat part 91 jet job (privately owned Hawker), which do you feel would be most beneficial to the resume? Right now I have about 2000 hours, 1700 turbine (turboprop), and only 300 PIC... Right now my ultimate goal is to end up at a major, just not sure if one way is better than the other...

That said, there's always the opportunity at some point to go to the ATR in Guam. At this point in time, the most junior ATR CA has a bit over 3 years on property. That's what I'm waiting for personally, but I'm kind of stuck because with almost 2 years in with this company, it's better for me to wait for that than bail and go somewhere else for the TPIC. If you could get some jet PIC sooner than that, I think you have your answer.

Just read that Kirksville MO city council is supporting 9K for service to STL, perhaps that has something to do with the new class being pushed through? Not sure when the service would begin or the vote for that matter. Either way I'll be glad to have a few more numbers below me haha.
Cape Air will provide three daily round trips from Kirksville to St Louis begining September 17th.

Cape Air is looking more and more attractive to me these days, especially being able to live in the Caribbean as I love it down there..but I have a question. Please forgive me as I know little about the company..but are there plans to expand the turbine side of the company, maybe upgrade to more ATR's, Dash's etc? Or is the 402 business model going to be the Cape Air staple for the foreseeable future?

I've applied there many, many times and only received one email back saying they weren't hiring at the time.

Dash,
No plans on more ATRs or Dash8s. The only reason we got ATRs is cos of the GUM ops. If we were to lose this contract i highly doubt we will keep just two ATRs.
The 402 is the money maker and we are currently looking for a replacement airplane, another twin piston.

I have been wondering what other aircraft Cape Air could use. I can't think of any piston twin to replace the 402. All similar aircraft are equally old and short on parts.
We do some sales at my job and we just had someone look into a 421 and he ended up going with PC-12 because it was more economical.
