You are embarrassing those that have served in the military and don't share your ridiculous viewpoint.

Military pilots get standardized, professional training in fast jets with a real jeopardy involved.... unlike regional pilots.
Nobody put a gun in your head to fly military. The pilots have two options in their career, military or civilian.
You decided to serve the country good, I appreciate it. But, that doesn't entitle you for a civilian career.
At least as a civilian we won't have to live with the remorse of killing someone in my super fast jet with guns and ammo.
Again, thanks for your service, but you have to grow as a person.
Nobody is entitled to nothing, everybody have to earn their position interviewing and be the best at what they do.
Continuing with the main topic...
Sorry guys, we told ya that wasn't going to be pretty. Btw my friend told me that they will increase health benefits payments 8% and that the per diem will no go up in 2017. Is that for real??? That's a major concession!

Why is everyone missing the biggest issue here? After your first interview fail, youre frozen at your current payrate for you psa career. That means if airways interviews 20 of us per month and turn down all but 4, in two years time the entire list will be frozen!! Including year 1!!! No one will even get to 12th year pay. You must take an interview or be frozen anyways.

Sorry, that is just my story, I'm sure any other civilian pilot can talk about their own jobs and challenging flying they have done.
P.S. Good luck, PSA guys. Sounds like management is trying to force you into a corner :/

Except the corner is made of paper. And there is already a giant hole in it. What are they going to do? We aren't giving up anything. We are already making intern wages for new hires. They can't fill classes. Many airlines are paying bonuses just to get people in the door. This is not a corner unless we make it up.

No it was incorrectly stated. If you fail training (ground/sim/IOE) after being awarded a class date from a successful interview, then its frozen. If you are not awarded a class date because of a failed interview, you will continue to receive your normal pay raise. In other words, study hard and don't **** up after you pass the interview process and there's nothing to worry about.
Or at least that's the way I read it. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
